of <h1>Punjab Implements GST Rule Amendments from Jan 1, 2022: Key Provisions Enforced as Notified by Excise and Taxation Dept.</h1> The Government of Punjab, through its Department of Excise and Taxation, has issued a notification regarding the implementation of certain provisions of the Punjab Goods and Services Tax (Fourteenth Amendment) Rules, 2022. Effective from January 1, 2022, the provisions of sub-rule (3), sub-rule (4), clause (i) of sub-rule (7), and sub-rule (8) of rule 2 will be enforced. This decision follows recommendations from the Council and was published in the Punjab Government Gazette on November 16, 2022. The notification is authorized by the Financial Commissioner (Taxation) to the Government of Punjab.
