of <h1>Uttar Pradesh GST Rules Amended: Rules 122, 124, 125, 134, 137 Omitted; Rule 127 and Chapter-XV Explanation Revised.</h1> The Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax (Fifty Eighth Amendment) Rules, 2023, effective from December 1, 2022, amends the Uttar Pradesh GST Rules, 2017. Key changes include the omission of rules 122, 124, 125, 134, and 137. Rule 127 is amended to replace 'Duties' with 'Functions' and redefine the authority's responsibilities. Additionally, the Explanation to Chapter-XV is revised to clarify the definition of 'Authority' under section 171 of the Act. These amendments were made by the Governor following recommendations from the GST Council.
