of <h1>Punjab Lowers GST E-Invoice Threshold from Rs. 20 Crore to Rs. 10 Crore, Effective October 2022.</h1> The Government of Punjab has amended Notification No. S.O. 19/PGSTR/2017/R.48/2021, dated January 28, 2021, under the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. Effective from October 1, 2022, the amendment changes the monetary threshold in the first paragraph from 'twenty crore rupees' to 'ten crore rupees.' This change was made by the Governor of Punjab, based on the recommendations of the Council, and is issued by the Department of Excise and Taxation.
