of <h1>Special Additional Excise Duty on Petroleum Crude Raised, Aviation Turbine Fuel Export Duty Eliminated Effective March 4, 2023.</h1> The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, issued Notification No. 10/2023-Central Excise, amending Notification No. 18/2022-Central Excise. Effective March 4, 2023, the Special Additional Excise Duty on petroleum crude production is increased to Rs. 4,400 per tonne, while the duty on the export of aviation turbine fuel is reduced to nil. These changes are made under the authority of the Central Excise Act, 1944, and the Finance Act, 2002, in the public interest.
