of <h1>New Tariff Values for Oils, Metals, and Nuts Announced in Notification No. 07/2023 Under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has issued Notification No. 07/2023, amending the tariff values for various goods under the Customs Act, 1962. The updated tariff values, effective from February 1, 2023, include crude palm oil ($986/MT), RBD palm oil ($992/MT), crude soyabean oil ($1267/MT), and brass scrap ($5324/MT). Gold is valued at $620 per 10 grams, and silver at $768 per kilogram. The notification supersedes previous tables and maintains the tariff for areca nuts at $9093 per metric tonne.
