of <h1>Gujarat Amends GST Notification: Exempts Husk of Pulses, Updates Feed Schedule, Effective January 2023.</h1> The Government of Gujarat has amended Notification No. 2/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective January 1, 2023, the amendment exempts husk of pulses, including chilka, and concentrates such as chuni, churi, and khanda from state tax. Additionally, the entry for aquatic, poultry, and cattle feed in the schedule has been updated to include grass, hay, straw, supplements, additives, wheat bran, and de-oiled cake, excluding rice bran. This change is made in public interest following recommendations from the Goods and Services Tax Council.
