<h1>Tariff Values Amended for Edible Oils, Metals, and Areca Nuts Effective December 31, 2022, by CBIC.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has amended the tariff values for various goods, effective December 31, 2022. The changes apply to edible oils, brass scrap, gold, silver, and areca nuts. The new tariff values are specified as follows: crude palm oil at $977 per metric tonne, RBD palm oil at $982, crude palmolein at $990, and RBD palmolein at $993. Crude soybean oil is set at $1348 per metric tonne, and brass scrap at $4834. Gold is valued at $584 per 10 grams, silver at $779 per kilogram, and areca nuts remain unchanged at $9093 per metric tonne.
