of <h1>Bihar Governor Rescinds 2018 GST Notification u/s 148; Effective October 2022, Public Interest Cited.</h1> The Governor of Bihar, exercising the authority under section 148 of the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has rescinded Notification No. S.O. 164 dated April 3, 2018. This decision, effective from October 1, 2022, was made in the public interest and based on the recommendations of the Council. The rescission does not affect actions taken or omitted before this date. This notification was issued by the Commercial Tax Department and documented under File No. Bikri kar/GST/vividh-21/2017 (Part-14) 2674. The order was authorized by the Commissioner State Tax-cum-Secretary.
