of <h1>Telangana GST Rules Amended: Changes to Tax Rates on Bricks and Tiles Effective April 1, 2022.</h1> The Telangana Revenue Department issued Notification No. 01/2022-State Tax (Rate) to amend the Telangana Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. Effective April 1, 2022, the amendments involve changes to tax rates under the Telangana GST Act, 2017. Specifically, certain entries in Schedule I at 2.5% are omitted, while new entries are added to Schedule II at 6%. These include items such as fly ash bricks, bricks of fossil meals, building bricks, and earthen or roofing tiles. The notification was authorized by the Chief Secretary and Special Chief Secretary to the Government.
