of <h1>Jharkhand Rescinds 2017 Tax Notification; New Rules Effective Retroactively from July 2022 per Notification No. 11/2022.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand, through the Commercial Taxes Department, has issued Notification No. 11/2022 - State Tax (Rate) on August 23, 2022. This notification rescinds the previous Notification No. 45/2017 - State Tax (Rate) dated November 14, 2017, under the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The rescission is effective retroactively from July 18, 2022, but does not affect actions taken or omitted before this date. The decision follows recommendations from the Council and is authorized by the Governor of Jharkhand.
