of <h1>Mizoram Amends GST Notification No. 5/2017: New Serial Numbers for Oils and Coal Products Effective July 18, 2022.</h1> The Government of Mizoram has issued an amendment to Notification No. 5/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from July 18, 2022, the amendment involves changes to the serial numbers in the notification's table, specifically renumbering S. No. 1 to S. No. 1AA and inserting new entries for various oils and coal products. These include soya-bean oil, ground-nut oil, olive oil, palm oil, and other vegetable oils, as well as coal, lignite, and peat products. The amendment was made on the recommendation of the Council.
