of <h1>Puducherry Amends GST Notification: Updates on GTA Tax Conditions and Residential Rental Services Effective July 18, 2022.</h1> The Government of Puducherry has amended Notification G.O. Ms. No. 13/2017 concerning the Puducherry GST (Rate) under the powers of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Key changes include the removal of certain tax rate conditions and the introduction of a new proviso for suppliers registered under the Act who choose to pay tax on services of Goods Transport Agency (GTA) under forward charge. Additionally, a new entry for the service of renting residential dwellings to registered persons has been added. These amendments take effect from July 18, 2022.
