of <h1>Karnataka Amends GST Notification: New Rules for GTA Services, Residential Rental Services, and Declaration Form Introduced.</h1> The Government of Karnataka has amended Notification (13/2017) under the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, effective from July 18, 2022. Key changes include the removal of certain conditions regarding state tax payment at 6% and the introduction of a new proviso for suppliers registered under the KGST Act who opt for forward charge on GTA services. Additionally, amendments were made to omit specific service descriptions in serial number 5, and a new entry, 5AA, was added for services related to renting residential dwellings to registered persons. Annexure III, a declaration form, was also introduced.
