of <h1>Karnataka GST Amendment: Tax Rate Revised to 6% Under S. No. 1, Effective July 18, 2022.</h1> The Government of Karnataka has amended Notification No. FD 48 CSL 2017, originally dated June 29, 2017, under the Karnataka Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. As per Notification No. FD 20 CSL 2022, dated July 15, 2022, the amendment involves a change in the tax rate specified in the original notification. Specifically, in the table under S. No. 1, the tax rate in column (4) is revised to '6%.' This amendment will take effect on July 18, 2022. The notification is issued by the Under Secretary to the Government, Finance Department, on behalf of the Governor of Karnataka.
