of <h1>Bihar Amends GST Rate: Notification No. 08/2022 Changes Tax Rate to 6%, Effective July 18, 2022.</h1> Notification No. 08/2022-State Tax (Rate), dated 15th July 2022, issued by the Commercial Tax Department of Bihar, amends Notification No. 03/2017-State Tax (Rate) from 29th June 2017. Under the authority of the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and following the Council's recommendations, the amendment changes the tax rate in the notification's table, specifically substituting the entry in column (4) with '6%.' This amendment takes effect on 18th July 2022. The notification is authorized by the Governor of Bihar and signed by the Commissioner State Tax-cum-Secretary.
