of <h1>Finance Ministry Amends Excise Notification: Export Goods Excluded Effective July 1, 2022, for Public Interest.</h1> The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, issued Notification No. 03/2022-Central Excise on June 30, 2022, amending Notification No. 05/2019-Central Excise. Under the powers conferred by the Central Excise Act, 1944, and the Finance Act, 2002, the amendment specifies that the notification does not apply to goods cleared for export. The amendment took effect on July 1, 2022. The principal notification was initially published on July 6, 2019, and was last amended on February 1, 2021. The amendment is in the public interest as determined by the Central Government.
