of <h1>Kerala Amends GST Notification: Rule 138E Implementation Date Shifted to August 21, 2019, for Public Interest.</h1> The Government of Kerala has amended Notification G.O. (P) No. 92/2019/TAXES dated 19th June 2019, concerning the Kerala State Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment changes the effective date for the implementation of rule 138E of the Kerala Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, from 21st June 2019 to 21st August 2019. This change is made following recommendations from the Goods and Services Tax Council and is deemed necessary for public interest. The amendment is retroactively effective from 21st June 2019.
