The amendment changes the deadline in paragraph 2 of the original notification from July 31, 2019, to August 31, 2019. This amendment is effective from July 29, 2019. The change follows the recommendations of the Goods and Services Tax Council and aims to extend the deadline for submitting FORM GST CMP-08, facilitating quarterly tax payments and annual return filings for eligible taxpayers under Section 10 of the Act.
