Sets Rule 46 of MGST Rules, 2017 to Activate on April 1, 2020.</h1> The Government of Mizoram's Taxation Department issued a notification under the authority of rule 5 of the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax (Fourth Amendment) Rules, 2019. This notification, identified as No. 71 of 2019-State Tax, specifies that the provisions of rule 46 of the MGST Rules, 2017, will take effect from April 1, 2020. This decision follows recommendations from the Council and was formalized on February 5, 2020, by the Governor of Mizoram.
