of <h1>Sikkim Amends GST Rules: SEZ Unit Inclusion and Limit Raised to 500 Crore u/r 48 Sub-Rule 4.</h1> The Government of Sikkim, through its Commercial Taxes Division, has issued an amendment to Notification No. 13/2020 - State Tax, dated March 21, 2020. This amendment, effective July 30, 2020, modifies the Sikkim Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. The changes include the insertion of 'a Special Economic Zone unit and' before certain references and the substitution of 'one hundred crore rupees' with 'five hundred crore rupees' in the specified paragraph. These amendments are made under the authority granted by sub-rule (4) of rule 48 and are based on the recommendations of the Council.
