of <h1>Nagaland GST Act Amended: Items Omitted from Schedule I, New Additions in Schedule II with 6% Tax Rate.</h1> The Government of Nagaland has amended its notification under the Nagaland Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective April 1, 2022, the amendments involve changes to tax schedules. In Schedule I, items with serial numbers 225B, 226, 227, and 228 are omitted. In Schedule II, with a 6% tax rate, new items are added: fly ash bricks or aggregates with 90% or more fly ash content, bricks of fossil meals or similar siliceous earths, building bricks, and earthen or roofing tiles. These changes are made following the recommendations of the Council.
