of <h1>Meghalaya Amends GST Notification: New Entries for Fly Ash Bricks and Building Materials Effective April 1, 2022.</h1> The Government of Meghalaya has amended Notification No. 14/2019-State Tax, dated March 7, 2019, under the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from April 1, 2022, the amendment introduces new entries to the existing notification, specifically adding items such as fly ash bricks or aggregates with 90% or more fly ash content, bricks of fossil meals or similar siliceous earths, building bricks, and earthen or roofing tiles. This change was made on the recommendation of the Council and is published by the Excise, Registration, Taxation, and Stamps Department.
