of <h1>Sikkim Amends GST Notification: Deadline Extended from September 30, 2020, to October 31, 2020, per GST Council Advice.</h1> The Government of Sikkim has amended Notification No. 41/2020-StateTax, originally dated May 5, 2020. Under the authority of section 44 of the Sikkim Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and rule 80 of the Sikkim GST Rules, the amendment changes the deadline mentioned in the original notification from September 30, 2020, to October 31, 2020. This adjustment is made following the recommendations of the GST Council. The amendment is issued by the Commercial Taxes Division of the Finance Department in Sikkim.
