<h1>Kerala GST Order Extends Annual Return Filing Deadline to January 31, 2020, Due to Technical Difficulties.</h1> The Kerala State Goods and Services Tax (Twelfth Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2019, issued by the Government of Kerala, addresses technical difficulties faced by taxpayers in electronically filing annual returns for the period from July 1, 2017, to March 31, 2018. Under section 44 of the Kerala State GST Act, 2017, registered persons must file returns by December 31 following the financial year. Due to these issues, the deadline has been extended to January 31, 2020. This order, effective from December 26, 2019, aims to facilitate compliance with the filing requirements.
