GST classification update adds fly ash bricks, building bricks and roofing tiles to the notified taxable goods list. Amendment inserts four tariff items into the State GST notification identifying fly ash bricks and blocks, bricks of fossil meals or similar siliceous earths, building bricks, and earthen or roofing tiles, each with specified tariff codes, and declares the amendment effective from the start of April 2022.
