of <h1>CBIC Amends Exchange Rates for South African Rand: 4.95 INR for Imports, 4.65 INR for Exports, Effective April 30.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has issued Notification No. 38/2022 to amend Notification No. 34/2022-CUSTOMS (N.T.), dated 21st April, 2022. This amendment, effective from 30th April, 2022, revises the exchange rate for the South African Rand in Schedule-I. The new rates are set at 4.95 Indian rupees for imported goods and 4.65 Indian rupees for export goods.
