of <h1>Mizoram Amends GST Rates: Removes Entry S. No. 243 from Schedule II and Modifies Entry S. No. 452P in Schedule III.</h1> The Government of Mizoram has issued amendments to Notification No. 1/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from November 2, 2021, the amendments include the removal of entry S. No. 243 from Schedule II, which had a 6% tax rate. Additionally, in Schedule III, with a 9% tax rate, the phrase 'in respect of Information Technology software' is removed from entry S. No. 452P. These changes are made following recommendations by the Council and are published in the Mizoram Gazette.
