of <h1>Central Government Amends Effective Date in Customs Notification to July 1, 2022, in Public Interest.</h1> The Central Government has issued Notification No. 18/2022-Customs, amending Notification No. 52/2003-Customs dated March 31, 2003. This amendment, made under the powers granted by the Customs Act, 1962, changes the effective date in the proviso from '1st day of April, 2022' to '1st day of July, 2022.' This notification is issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, and is considered necessary in the public interest. The principal notification was last amended by Notification No. 19/2021-Customs on March 30, 2021.
