of <h1>Chhattisgarh Amends GST Notification to Include Tax Rates for Peppermint and Mint Oils Effective October 2021.</h1> The Government of Chhattisgarh has issued Notification No. 10/2021, amending Notification No. 4/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Chhattisgarh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from October 1, 2021, adds a new entry in the tax rate table for certain essential oils, specifically peppermint and other mint oils. The amendment applies to both registered and unregistered persons dealing with these products. The notification was enacted following the recommendations of the GST Council and is published by the Chhattisgarh Commercial Tax Department.
