of <h1>Government Approves Voluntary Aadhaar Authentication for FINnet Users u/r 3 of 2020 Rules for Identity Validation.</h1> The Central Government has issued a notification permitting the use of Aadhaar authentication services for identity validation of users within the FINnet system on a voluntary basis. This is in accordance with rule 3 of the Aadhaar Authentication for Good Governance (Social Welfare, Innovation, Knowledge) Rules, 2020. The notification is authorized under clause (aa) of sub-section (2) of section 53 of the Aadhaar Act, 2016, and is managed by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
