of <h1>Tamil Nadu GST Act Amendment: Changes to Service Descriptions Effective Retroactively from January 1, 2022.</h1> The notification amends a previous notification under the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. It modifies the description of services in the table against serial number 3, specifically changing references from 'Union territory, a local authority, a Governmental Authority or a Government Entity' to 'Union territory or a local authority' in certain items. Additionally, it omits certain conditions in the same items. These amendments are retroactively effective from January 1, 2022. The changes are made under the authority of the Governor of Tamil Nadu, based on the Council's recommendations, in the public interest.
