of <h1>J&K appoints Higher Judicial Service member as Judicial Member of GST Appellate Tribunal u/s 110. Effective Feb 6, 2020.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, exercising its authority under section 110 of the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, appoints a member of the J&K Higher Judicial Service as the Judicial Member of the J&K Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal. This appointment, effective from February 6, 2020, supersedes the previous notification SRO-298 dated July 6, 2018. The appointee, currently leading the J&K Sales Tax Appellate Tribunal, will assume this role in addition to existing responsibilities. The notification is issued by the Secretary to the Government, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
