of <h1>Sikkim Amends GST Notification to Include New Entry 3A for Essential Oils Effective October 1, 2021.</h1> The Government of Sikkim has amended Notification No. 4/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Sikkim Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 1, 2021, the amendment introduces a new entry, 3A, to the existing table. This entry specifies certain essential oils, excluding those of citrus fruits, such as peppermint, spearmint, water mint, horsemint, and bergamot oils. The amendment applies to both registered and unregistered persons dealing with these essential oils. The notification was issued by the Secretary of the Commercial Taxes Division, Finance Department, Sikkim.
