of <h1>Assam Sets June 1, 2021, as Start Date for Section 50 of GST Amendment Act 2021 Implementation.</h1> The Government of Assam, through the Finance (Taxation) Department, has issued a notification appointing June 1, 2021, as the effective date for the implementation of the provisions of section 50, as listed under Serial No. 6 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Act, 2021. This decision is made under the authority granted by subsection (3) of section 1 of the Assam Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The notification is authorized by the Governor of Assam and communicated by the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Assam.
