<h1>Tamil Nadu Constitutes New Advance Ruling Authority u/s 96 of GST Act, Replacing 2021 Notification.</h1> The Tamil Nadu Government, under the authority of Section 96 of the Tamil Nadu Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has established the Tamil Nadu Authority for Advance Ruling. This new constitution supersedes a previous notification dated July 28, 2021. The Authority is composed of two members: an Additional Commissioner of GST and Central Excise, and a Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, with their appointments effective from August 17, 2021, and August 25, 2021, respectively.
