of <h1>Jharkhand Amends GST Notification: Removes IT Software Tax Entry, Adjusts Rates Retroactively from October 2021.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand, exercising its powers under the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has amended Notification No. 1/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated June 29, 2017. The amendments include the omission of entry S. No. 243 from Schedule II (6%) and the removal of the words 'in respect of Information Technology software' from entry S. No. 452P in Schedule III (9%). These changes are effective retroactively from October 27, 2021. The notification is issued by the Commercial Taxes Department under the order of the Governor of Jharkhand.
