of <h1>Nagaland GST Act Amended: Free Food Supplies and Fortified Rice for Economically Weaker Sections Updated in Notification.</h1> The Government of Nagaland has amended a previous notification from October 26, 2017, under the Nagaland Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective October 1, 2021, the amendment changes entries in the notification's table. Specifically, under S. No. 1, the entry in column (3) is updated to include food preparations in unit containers for free distribution to economically weaker sections and fortified rice kernel supplies for approved schemes. Additionally, in column (4), the term 'food preparations' is replaced with 'goods.' This amendment is made based on recommendations from the Council.
