of <h1>Punjab GST Act Update: New Appointments for Serial Numbers 1 & 2 Effective January 2022.</h1> The Government of Punjab's Department of Excise and Taxation has issued an amendment to Notification No. S.O. 31/P.A.5/2017/S.96/2021, dated March 30, 2021. This amendment, effective January 17, 2022, under the Punjab Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, replaces entries for serial numbers 1 and 2 with new appointments. The new appointees are an Additional Commissioner from the Central Government and an Additional Commissioner of State Tax from the Punjab Government. This notification was authorized by the Additional Chief Secretary (Taxation) of the Government of Punjab.
