of <h1>India Imposes 30% Export Duty on Buffalo Hides, Amends Customs Notification No. 27/2011 Effective February 2, 2022.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, issued Notification No. 10/2022-Customs to amend Notification No. 27/2011-Customs. Effective from February 2, 2022, the amendment omits certain redundant entries and introduces a 30% export duty on raw hides and skins of buffalo. Specifically, entries under S. No. 20B and S. Nos. 63, 64 are removed, and a new entry, S. No. 38B, is added to the table. This amendment is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, in the public interest.
