of <h1>Jammu and Kashmir Sets November 10, 2020, as Effective Date for GST Act Section 39(a) and (b) Provisions.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, through the Finance Department, has issued a notification under S.O. 386 dated December 17, 2020. Utilizing the authority granted by Section 1A of the Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and in accordance with S.O. 3466(E) from October 5, 2020, the notification appoints November 10, 2020, as the effective date for implementing the provisions of Section 39(a) and (b) of the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This action is formalized by the Financial Commissioner of the Finance Department.
