of <h1>Jammu and Kashmir to Enforce Key GST Act Provisions from January 1, 2020, per Section 1A Notification.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, through its Finance Department, has issued a notification under the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Under the authority of Section 1A of the Act and a directive from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the provisions of several sections of the Act are to be enforced from January 1, 2020. These include specific sections and sub-sections such as Section 10, the second proviso to Section 22, certain sub-clauses of Section 25, Section 31A, and others as detailed in the notification.
