of <h1>Telangana Amends GST Act, Exempts ISRO Satellite Launch Services from State Tax Under Entry 19C.</h1> The Government of Telangana has issued an amendment to Notification No. 12/2017 under the Telangana Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, through Notification No. 05/2020, effective from October 16, 2020. This amendment, published in the Telangana Gazette, introduces a new entry, 19C, exempting satellite launch services provided by the Indian Space Research Organisation, Antrix Corporation Limited, or New Space India Limited from state tax. The amendment is made in the public interest following the recommendations of the Council. The notification is authorized by the Chief Secretary and Special Chief Secretary to the Government.
