of <h1>Gujarat Amends GST Notification: Changes in Service Descriptions, Exclusions for E-commerce Operators Now Effective.</h1> The Government of Gujarat has amended Notification No. (GHN-41) GST-2017/S.11 (1) (7)-TH dated 30th June 2017, under the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from January 1, 2022, the amendments involve changes to the description of services in the notification's table. Specifically, references to 'a Governmental authority or a Government Entity' are omitted in certain entries, and provisions are added stating that certain service exclusions apply when supplied through an electronic commerce operator, as notified under sub-section (5) of Section 9 of the Act.
