of <h1>Gujarat Notifies Amendments to GST Tax Rates; New Entries for Tamarind Seeds, Biodiesel, and Renewable Energy Devices.</h1> The Government of Gujarat has issued Notification No. 08/2021, amending Notification No. 1/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Gujarat Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from October 1, 2021, the amendments include changes in tax rates and entries across various schedules. Notable changes include the insertion of new entries for tamarind seeds and biodiesel in Schedule I, renewable energy devices in Schedule II, and various ores and concentrates in Schedule III. Additionally, carbonated beverages have been added to Schedule IV. Several entries have been omitted or substituted to reflect these updates.
