of <h1>India Updates GST Rates for Fish, Vegetables, Nuts, and Coconut Water Effective January 2022 under Notification 19/2021.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 19/2021-Integrated Tax (Rate) to amend the earlier Notification No. 2/2017-Integrated Tax (Rate) dated June 28, 2017. Effective January 1, 2022, changes include updates to the schedule of goods under various serial numbers, such as the substitution of entries for fish products, provisionally preserved vegetables, fresh nuts, and tender coconut water. Additionally, certain entries have been omitted, and new entries have been added. These amendments are made under the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, following recommendations from the Council.
