For taxpayers with an annual turnover exceeding Rs. 5 crores, the interest is waived for the first 15 days after the due date, followed by a 9% rate until June 24, 2020. For those with a turnover up to Rs. 5 crores, interest is waived until specific dates in 2020, with a 9% rate applying thereafter. This amendment applies to tax periods from February to July 2020 and is effective from June 24, 2020.
