of <h1>Uttar Pradesh GST Act Amended: Changes to Service Descriptions and E-commerce Operator Provisions Effective January 2022.</h1> The notification amends a previous order under the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. It removes the words 'or a Governmental authority or a Government Entity' from the description of services in certain entries of the notification's table. Additionally, it specifies that certain provisions do not apply to services supplied through an electronic commerce operator, as notified under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. These changes take effect from January 1, 2022, and are issued in the public interest based on the recommendations of the Council.
