<h1>India Revises Turkish Lira Exchange Rates for Imports and Exports u/s 14 of Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance and the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, has issued Notification No. 101/2021 to amend Notification No. 98/2021-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated 16th December 2021. Effective from 22nd December 2021, the amendment revises the exchange rate for the Turkish Lira in Schedule-I. The new exchange rates are set at 5.80 Indian Rupees for imported goods and 5.45 Indian Rupees for export goods. This adjustment is made under the authority of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962.
