of <h1>India Adjusts Exchange Rates for Turkish Lira: Import at Rs. 4.70, Export at Rs. 4.40 per Section 14 Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance and the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, has issued Notification No. 100/2021 to amend Notification No. 98/2021-CUSTOMS (N.T.) dated 16th December 2021. Effective from 21st December 2021, the amendment alters the exchange rates for the Turkish Lira in Schedule-I. The new rates are set at 4.70 Indian rupees for imported goods and 4.40 Indian rupees for export goods. This change is made under the authority of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962.
