of <h1>Maharashtra Amends GST Rates on Textiles: Key Changes to Woven Fabrics and Yarn Effective January 2022.</h1> The Government of Maharashtra has issued Notification No. 14/2021-State Tax (Rate) to amend the previous Notification No. 01/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendments involve the omission and addition of various serial numbers and entries in Schedules I, II, and III, affecting tax rates on different textile products and materials. Notable changes include adjustments to woven fabrics, synthetic and artificial filament yarns, and other textile goods. These amendments will take effect from January 1, 2022. The notification is enacted under the authority of the Maharashtra Finance Department.
